The role

The Google Workspace Thrive Engineer will transform business objectives into tangible configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations.

What you will do
  • Assess and triage incoming requests.
  • Timely Communication; adhering to Customer SLA’s.
  • Answer application or system-related questions where appropriate.
  • Escalate issues to Google that need broader participation and drive them to completion.
  • Deliver optimized solutions for requests from customers.
  • Ability to assess technical configurations within Google Workspace and host Security Workshops.
  • Perform complex administrative or configuration tasks on the Google Workspace Admin Console.
  • Perform code changes where applicable to resolve incoming requests.
  • Perform Data migration tasks on production domains following Software lifecycle methodologies.
  • Ensure proper discipline in tracking our activity in our operational systems.

Who are we looking for
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a truly customer-centric support organization.
  • Support experience with SaaS and/or cloud platform experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Expert coding skills in application development (JavaScript, Python, Apps Script); knowledge of the Google Workspace API’s.
  • Motivated to learn new applications or technologies.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills for issues from customers.
  • Good people skills, communication and creative skills.
  • Be a team player available to mentor more junior team members.
  • Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer certification is a must.
  • Google Cloud Professional Architect certificate is nice to have.
